When a gemologist tells you the diamond will be 'eye-clean' they are referring to the clarity . You will not be able to see any of the inclusions within the diamond with your naked eye and will need some sort of magnification to see them.

We do not sell any settings without the purchase of a center stone from Rare Carat. Since all of our settings are handcrafted and made to order for each specific center diamond, we want to ensure the highest quality of the finished piece.
Easy answer, mined (natural diamonds) are grown by the Earth over billions of years and lab grown diamonds are grown by professionals in a machine. Both are chemically and physically identical, with the same optical properties and it would take a trained professional with expensive, high-tech equipment to tell them apart. With the naked eye, no. It takes expensive equipment and specialized training to tell the difference between the two. However, any lab grown diamond sold by Rare Carat will have a laser inscription on the girdle that states it's a lab grown stone. Pick up a NEW medium-sized box at FedEx (they are free). Place the item and all original packaging in the box along with any grading paperwork and appraisals (if applicable).
